"Breaking News, Breaking News:"
Polio is nearly eradicated! What remains are the countries that are the hardest to hit. These countries all have Medical hardships, but together, we can help fix that.
As a World Health Organizer, I believe that it is not our vaccines that we need to improve, or more scientists coming together and doing tons of labs and dealing with dead drugs and viruses. It is our knowledge. It is we, the people.
What I would do is make organizations that bring people together and actually learn about what this disease is. In order to do something, or in order to make something happen, our environment needs to be aware that there is a problem, and with fortitude, we as a whole have to face the issue and solve it together. There are so many great minds all across the globe. If we put our knowledge together, all of us could sanitize the environment, one sewage pipe at a time.
I would make sure that everyone across the world has the Medical Equipment that they need to be treated.. With the help of today's technology in Medicine and Science, there are so many cures and vaccines to many fatal diseases! But, not all countries are able to have an immediate doctor to help them through emergencies, to have regular checkups, or to get the vaccinations and antibiotics that would actually help them. If every country had the medical equipment that the U.s. has today, then so many issues could have been solved.
The final thing that I would do is open up more fundraisers and donation boxes that go towards the research of the cure for Polio. Research requires a high price along with intelligent people. The money that researchers recieve come from donations toward the cause that they are studying. If there are more events and donations for the research of Polio, then that would be a big step towards finding a cure for those who have it. It would eradicate the disease immediately!.
International problems need international help. Lend a hand, and you can be one of the causes for finding a cure to Polio.
